Jacques Danka Longa (born July 26, 1961 in Sokodé , Togo ) is a Togolese clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Kara .

Life

Jacques Danka Longa received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Sokodé on January 25, 1992 . On July 1, 1994 Longa was incardinated in the clergy of the Diocese of Kara .

On April 23, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to coadjutor bishop of Kara. The Apostolic Nuncio in Togo, Archbishop Michael August Blume SVD , donated him episcopal ordination on July 26th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Lomé , Denis Komivi Amuzu-Dzakpah , and the Bishop of Sokodé, Ambroise Kotamba Djoliba . On January 7th, 2009 Jacques Danka Longa became Bishop of Kara, succeeding Ignace Baguibassa Sambar-Talkena , who resigned due to illness.
