Nicodème Anani Barrigah-Benissan (born May 19, 1963 in Ouagadougou , Burkina Faso ) is a Burkinabe clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Lomé .

Life

Nicodème Anani Barrigah-Benissan received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Lomé on August 8, 1987 .

On January 9, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the bishop of Atakpamé . The Archbishop of Cape Coast , Peter Cardinal Turkson , donated him episcopal ordination on March 9 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the retired Archbishop of Lomé, Philippe Fanoko Kossi Kpodzro , and the retired Bishop of Atakpamé, Julien Mawule Kouto .

On November 23, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Lomé. The inauguration took place on January 11, 2020.
