Julien Mawule Kouto

Julien Mawule Kouto (born June 19, 1946 in Lomé , Togo ; † June 5, 2015 ) was Bishop of Atakpamé .

Life

Julien Mawule Kouto was ordained a priest on June 29, 1975 .

Pope . John Paul II appointed him on 18 October 1993 as bishop of Atakpame and donated to it on 6 January 1994, the episcopal ordination ; Co-consecrators were the Archbishops of the Curia Giovanni Battista Re and Josip Uhač .

His resignation for health reasons gave Pope Benedict XVI. on March 1, 2006.
