Ignas Aleškevičius
Ignas Aleškevičius (born August 27, 1950 in Krekštėnai , Alytus Rajongemeinde , † April 12, 2010 in Lithuania ) was a Lithuanian politician.
Life
In 1977 Ignas graduated from the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija with a degree in agronomy and then served in the Soviet Army. From 1972 to 1975 he worked at the collective farm "Gimtoji žemė" in the Rajongemeinde Alytus , from 1975 to 1980 in the state farm in Rimėnai , and from 1980 to 1985 at the collective farm "Volungė", and from 1995 to 1996 he was mayor of Alytus District Municipality, from 1996 to 1997 member of the Seimas , from 1997 to 2001 he headed the Alytus district . From 2003 he worked at AB " Lytagra ".
From 1993 he was a member of Tėvynės sąjunga .
