Ignaz Rohr (born June 29, 1866 in Hochmössingen , today a district of Oberndorf am Neckar; † February 7, 1944 there ) was a German Catholic theologian.

After graduating from high school in Rottweiler , he studied theology, philosophy, art history and philology in Tübingen and received his doctorate in theology in 1899 . He was ordained a priest in 1892. In 1903 he was appointed to the chair for the exegesis of the New Testament at the Wroclaw Catholic theological faculty. In 1917 he became professor in Tübingen and in 1922 rector of this university. In 1932 he retired.

Together with the Old Testament scholar Johannes Nikel, he edited the series “Biblical Time Issues” and wrote a number of articles on Buchberger's “Church Hand Lexicon”. Rohr's specialty was the New Testament, in which he mainly dealt with research into the Corpus Paulinum and the Revelation of John. In addition to the exegesis of the New Testament, Rohr was also interested in Christian art, so he contributed numerous publications to the “Archive for Christian Art”. His Swabian compatriot Landolin Ohmacht (born 1760 in Dunningen, died 1834 in Strasbourg), a sculptor, worked in Rottweil, Frankfurt, Lübeck and Strasbourg, he dedicated a 194-page description of his life and work.

Rohr was an honorary member of the Catholic student association AV Guestfalia Tübingen in the CV since 1900 .
