Igo Pötsch (actually Ignaz, born May 29, 1884 in Graz ; † April 24, 1943 in Vienna ) was an Austrian lithographer, painter, poster artist and art teacher.

From 1898 Igo Pötsch attended a drawing course at the State Art School in Graz and the private art school of Paul Schad-Rossa . In 1904 Pötsch worked as a lithographer in Dresden . From 1905 to 1914 he was artistic director of the Nussdorf paper and tin printing industry in Vienna. At the graphic teaching and research institute in Vienna he completed the special course for lithography. After 1918 he turned to painting. From 1926 to 1928 he worked as a teacher for lithography at the Graphic Education and Research Institute in Vienna. In 1930 he led special courses for lithography at the Academy for graphic arts in Leipzig .

From 1924 Pötsch took part in the exhibitions of the Society of Visual Artists Vienna (Künstlerhaus) , became a member in 1930, and from 1931 he co-founded the new group of the Vienna Artists' Cooperative.

From 1938 to 1943 he was exhibition director at the Vienna Künstlerhaus.
