Igor Bacal (born January 18, 1974 ) is a former Moldovan biathlete .

Igor Bacal was one of the first Moldovan biathletes to take part in the competitions of the Biathlon World Cup 1993/94 as a United Team after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the subsequent brief merger of the athletes from the successor states . He contested his first race at the start of the season in Bad Gastein . In this individual, in which he was 136th and last, he went down in the history of the Biathlon World Cup as the athlete with the greatest deficit ever achieved. Bacal was 32: 41.0 minutes behind the winner Sergei Tarassow . The Moldovan achieved his best result in 1994 as the 117th sprint in Antholz . The only time he took part in an international championship was in 1998 when he took part in the Summer Biathlon World Championships in Osrblie and finished 54th in the sprint race and 50th in the pursuit.
