Igor Lazić (born August 8, 1967 in Sarajevo , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Yugoslav football player and today's coach .
Career
Lazić began his career at FK Sarajevo , where he was under contract with the U-19 juniors until 1985 and then with the professionals. He then ran for SCO Angers in 1991/92 , and then played at ASOA Valence . After a short stay at FC St. Gallen , he received a contract with Dynamo Dresden in 1995 . There he scored 17 goals in 40 games in the Regionalliga Nordost . 1997 Lazić joined the FC Energie Cottbus . During this time he was with FC Energie in the 1996/97 season champion of the Regionalliga Nordost and rose to the second Bundesliga, where he scored three goals in 15 games. With Cottbus he also reached the final against VfB Stuttgart at the 1996/97 DFB Cup . There he was substituted on for Ingolf Schneider in the 65th minute . In 1998, Lazić moved to the Regionalliga Nordost for VfB Leipzig and scored nine goals in 46 games. From 2000 to 2002 he worked for SV Babelsberg 03 . In the 2000/01 season he scored eight goals in 28 games, but was often only substituted on. After being promoted to the second Bundesliga, he was only used there four times. He then played for a short time for Ludwigsfelder FC and BSV Sebnitz and then ended his career. Lazić also played eleven games for the Yugoslav national soccer team .
As a coach, Lazić initially worked for Arminia Bielefeld's second team from 2005 to 2006 . He then worked as head coach at TuS Koblenz in 2009/10 . Most recently he coached the BFC Dynamo in 2011 .
