Igor Wladimirowitsch Borissow ( Russian Игорь Владимирович Борисов ; * 1979 ) is a former Russian bow biathlete .

Igor Borissow won his first international medal at the 2003 World Championships in Krün with silver behind Andrei Markow and in front of Daniele Conte in the pursuit race. A year later he could not win an individual medal in Pokljuka - he was even disqualified in the sprint race - but belonged to the victorious Russian relay with Iwan Maslennikow , Igor Samoilow and Markow and won his first world title. The following season was dominated by an outstanding Igor Borisov. He not only won the overall World Cup ranking , but also the sprint, pursuit and mass start rankings . Also at the World Championships in Forni Avoltri , the Russian won all possible individual races with sprint races, the pursuer and the mass start race. In the victorious season, Borisov was not used.
