Igor Vladimirovich Kwascha
Igor Vladimirovich Kwascha ( Russian Игорь Владимирович Кваша , born February 4, 1933 in Moscow ; † August 30, 2012 there ) was a Russian actor .
Life
Kwascha, son of the scientist Vladimir Ilyich Kwascha and a special education teacher, studied at the theater studio at the Chekhov Art Theater in Moscow under Alexander Karew and, after successfully completing his degree, joined the ensemble of the Chekhov Art Theater, to which he was available for two seasons. Then he went to the newly founded Sovremennik Theater , where he stayed for many years. Throughout his life he focused on stage work and contemporary plays; only occasionally did he make films or appear on television.
Kwascha has received many awards; in 1968 he became a People's Artist of the RSFSR and in 2006 received the Order of Merit for the Fatherland of the 3rd level for his extraordinary contribution to the development of the theater.
