Ilka Neuenhaus

Ilka Neuenhaus (born May 2, 1964 in Tönisvorst ) was a green member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg from 2007 to 2011 . She represented the constituency of Tübingen .

biography

After completing secondary school, Ilka Neuenhaus completed an apprenticeship as a legal assistant. This was followed by a year abroad in the USA . After she had passed her Abitur on the second educational path , Ilka Neuenhaus studied law in Tübingen . She has lived here with her family since 1988. Ilka Neuenhaus is married and has two sons. After completing an additional university degree, she works as a freelance graduate mediator.

She was also the managing director of the Greens in Tübingen, for which she sat on the municipal council from 2004 to 2009 and for which she has been back in the Tübingen district council since 2009 .

On May 26, 2007, she entered the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg as the successor to Boris Palmer , who was elected mayor of Tübingen. In the parliamentary group of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen , she was responsible for sport, integration and petitions .
