Ilse couple
Ilse Paar (* 1940 in Lower Austria ; † March 5, 1980 ) was an Austrian provincial Roman archaeologist .
Ilse Paar studied Classical Archeology at the University of Vienna , where she received her doctorate on July 15, 1963. Since 1964 she was involved in the investigation of the fort and the burial ground of Gelduba ( Krefeld-Gellep ). Since 1971 she has been the deputy director of the Burg Linn Museum Center in Krefeld. In 1973 she received the Albert Steeger scholarship . At the University of Düsseldorf she was teaching ancient history.
