In the hunter's moon (Original title: The Hunter's Moon ) is an American adventure film from 1999 . Directed by Richard Weinman , who co- wrote the script with John Huff , William Kemper and L. Ford Neale .

action

The action takes place in the United States during the alcohol prohibition era . The widowed Clayton Samuels lives with his daughter Florence Irene and his son Jack in a remote house. He illegally produces alcohol, which he delivers to Judge Tully, who provides him with political backing.

Florence suspects her father of murdering some men who were interested in her. One day she met the veterans of World War I know Turner. Turner is chased by Samuels. It turns out that Samuels is guilty of the death of his wife.

Reviews

Film service wrote that the film contained a "strange mixture of action film and melodrama" and offered "only unsatisfactory entertainment".

Cinema magazine ridiculed the film as "a halali that doesn't scare a rabbit". She suspected that Burt Reynolds was in dire need of money, which must have prompted him to work on "such a second-rate flick".

Howard Smith received an award from the Long Island International Film Expo in 1999.
