Iman Attia

Iman Attia (* 1963 ) is a German social worker .

Life

Attia studied social pedagogy at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg . Followed by stirring in Education at the University of Oldenburg to Dr. phil. PhD. She is currently Professor of Diversity Studies / Racism and Migration as well as Intercultural Social Work at the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin . She is u. a. Member of the Council for Migration , the German Society for Sociology and the German Society for Educational Sciences . Attia is also a liaison professor of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation and on the scientific advisory board of the Yearbook for Islamophobia Research and the Avicenna Studienwerk .
