The Michael Imhof Verlag is a German book publisher based in Petersberg (Hessen) in Fulda with topics on art , architecture and cultural history as well as regional matters .
The publishing house was founded in 1996 by the art historian Michael Imhof and has established itself as an art book publisher with specialist publications such as exhibition catalogs, inventory catalogs and scientific qualification papers ( dissertations and post- doctoral theses ) as well as illustrated books and travel guides . The publisher works with numerous museums in the field of exhibition and inventory catalogs in particular. Over 1000 books have appeared since the publisher was founded. The annual production is over 100 titles.
