In Chang-soo (born November 23, 1972 ) is a former South Korean football player and today's coach with an Argentine passport. He spent his career in Argentina . He last played for the Platensa club. Most recently he was under contract as a coach at Seoul E-Land FC .
Career as a player
Player career
In Chang-soo his career began as a player with the semi-professional club E-Land Puma FC . From 1994 to 1995 he was there as a player under contract. He then went to Argentina, where Sacachispas FC took him out of Primera B under contract. The following year, he moved to Deportivo Riestra in the Primera B Nacional . In 1998 he moved again. This time he switched to Estudiante de Ruhan. In 1999 he was signed by the Platensa club. After the end of the season he ended his career as an active player.
Career as a coach
2006 took part in the club Ansan Halleluhja FC as co-coach under contract. Until 2007, the coaching team could not record any success with the players. In 2008 he took over the interim post. Under him, the club was surprisingly able to win the 2008 League Cup. In the course of the season, however, he was replaced again as there was no success in the league. In 2009 he and the coaching team celebrated winning the Queen's Cup with the team . Until 2012, however, the coaching staff could not record any further successes with the players. In 2013 he left the club in the direction of the K3 League for FC Pocheon . There he was able to win the K3 League with the team straight away. In 2014 he was in the league final with his team, but lost to Hwaseong FC and only reached the runner-up. In 2015 he was able to win the league again with his team.
In 2016 he moved to the professional club Seoul E-Land FC and became co-coach there. On June 15, 2016, he took over the interim position of coach from Martin Rennie , but had to hand it over to Park Kun-ha 9 days later on June 24, 2016 . On November 19, 2017, he took over the coaching post after Kim Byeong-su's resignation . With the club he could not celebrate any successes in his first season. In the Korean FA Cup 2018 , the coach and his team surprisingly failed in the third main round at Korea University with 1: 3 on penalties. It didn't go any better in the league. The team did not get past the last place in the table and was only 10th. Due to the bad season, his employer pulled the rip cord and fired him.
