In Good Faith is an electro / rock / pop / electro progressive band from Salzgitter - Steterburg , which was founded in 1998.
history
In Good Faith was founded in 1998 by March Damke, Ulf Wartelsteiner and Kai Németh. The piercing sound and Kai Németh's voice attracted 600 to 700 people at the first concert in the Braunschweig Meier Music Hall . The then current EP It's Not Too Late sold completely, as did the album Forward .
In Good Faith started again in 2009 with the band members Kai Németh (vocals, keyboard, drums, bass) and Marc Näder (keyboard, backing vocals), performed live in regional clubs and, thanks to their melancholy and catchy sound, were able to achieve the inventive title as well as establishing the performance and voice of Kai Németh in the Braunschweiger, Peiner and Salzgitteraner music scene.
In Good Faith has been producing since 2011 under Frank Michael Speer (Mic-L) in the Subterrasound Studio in Hildesheim, where Lavantgarde and Ultima Bleep already made their sound.
The band played in 2013 at the Nordstern Festival in Hamburg , u. a. with Camouflage, Terrolokaust, Icon of Coil, Neuroticfish, Winterkälte, Diary of Dreams and Zeromancer. She then released the album Past_Tense_Presence , which made her better known in clubs and online radio stations. In order to create more pressure on the stage and to develop musically, In Good Faith was looking for a guitarist, whom she found in Lars Isensee, who became a permanent member of the band in October 2013. At the end of 2013 In Good Faith supported the band Massiv in Mensch in Braunschweig .
After appearances as support for And One , at the EFB Festival and at the Synthage 4 Seasons Festival, In Good Faith played at Klub Kartell and at the Indie Gothic Festival 2014 in Goslar . The band ended 2014 with a concert at the Dark X-Mas Festival in the Hanover Music Center . In Good Faith has since released their new EP It's Tearing Me Apart .
Marc Näder and Lars Isensee left the band at the beginning of 2015, but Jörg Allenbach is now an integral part of the band as a keyboardist and composer. Allenbach and Németh met in the 1980s and founded the synth-pop band Hands of Fate together in 1995, later Take Me Home, from which the two pieces Don't Leave Me Alone and Loneliness die, in the new, come from Robe, published again on Past_Tense_Presence .
The EP It's Tearing Me Apart and the album Past_Tense_Presence were then re-released as "Anthology" on the Echozone label .
On December 18, 2015, In Good Faith released the single Shadows via Echozone. Shadows is part of the upcoming album Trinity , which will be released in 2018.
In 2016, the Canadian electro-pop formation Psyche was supported in the Hanoverian Music Center, which made a small dream come true for Allenbach and Németh, as they practically grew up with the band.
Since 2017 "IGGI" is also the singer of the band MODEL KAOS from Würzburg.
