Field of activity

Induni is a general contractor in all key areas of the construction and civil engineering involved, especially in infrastructure where the company is one of the largest construction companies in western Switzerland. The most important public clients include the city and canton of Geneva, the canton of Vaud, Geneva industrial companies, the Swiss Confederation, SBB and Geneva Airport.

history

The company was founded in 1917 by Pierre Induni and renamed Pierre Induni et Fils when his sons Charles and Edouard joined in 1935 . After Pierre Induni's withdrawal in 1951, it became Induni & Cie , which was converted into a stock corporation in 1970 .

In 1985 the Induni brothers sold their company to the Zurich construction company Züblin . Under the new management, Induni experienced a significant growth spurt. In 1997 the company became independent again through a management buy-out and in 2012 it was nominated for the SVC Entrepreneur Award Romandie.
