Ines Bautzmann
Ines Bautzmann , married Ines Pochert (born May 20, 1958 in Dresden ), is a former German speed skater. She started for the SC Einheit Dresden , was twice GDR champion and took part in the 1976 Winter Olympics for the German Democratic Republic .
Career
She won her two GDR championship titles at the GDR speed skating championships in 1976 . She won the competition over the 1500 meters in front of Monika Zernicek and Ute Dix and the competition over twice the distance in front of Monika Zernicek and Karin Kessow . She also won four silver medals and one bronze medal.
In 1976 she was nominated by the National Olympic Committee of the GDR for the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck , where she competed in the 500, 1500 and 3000 meters. She took 15th place over the 500 meters and seventh place over the 1500 meters. With fifth place she missed a medal over the 3000 meters.
