Ines Marie Westernström

Ines Marie Westernströer (born March 4, 1986 in Bochum , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German theater and film actress.

Career

Westernström completed an acting degree at the University of Music and Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig .

From 2011 to 2016 she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden , where she played the title role in the play " Miss Sara Sampson ", Hilde Wangel in " Baumeister Solness " and Mignon in " Wilhelm Meister's Apprenticeship Years ". In 2016 she moved to the Schauspiel Köln , where she is also a permanent member of the ensemble. Here she works with directors such as Frank Castorf , Ersan Mondtag , Therese Willstedt and Stefan Bachmann and can be seen as Marie in “ Woyzeck ”, among others.

For her performance in the play "Istanbul" (director: Nuran David Calis ) she was nominated as best young actress in 2017 by Theater heute magazine . She also works regularly for film and television. In the movie "The Hannas" she played the leading role Nico . She was nominated for best leading actress at the Munich Film Festival in 2016 for her performance . In the summer of 2017, the film was recognized as the best feature film at the Achtung Berlin film festival .

In 2018 she stood in front of the camera for the crime scene Cologne ( No Pity, No Mercy , Director: Felix Herzogenrath) and for the movie " Equinox " (Director: Lena Knauss ).

As chief inspector Pia Heinrich, she has been part of the permanent team of investigators for the Saarland crime scene since 2019 .
