Inflabluntahz
Inflabluntahz is a German-speaking music group that has existed since 1999 and is mainly active in the German rap genre .
Members
The music group Inflabluntahz consists of two members. On the one hand from the German rapper Franksta '(born May 5, 1981 ; civil Frank Adam) and the producer Nicoist (born May 28, 1980 ; civil Nicolai Zahn).
history
Franksta 'career has focused largely on DJing and producing mixtapes since the age of 15 . It wasn't until he was 18 that he became interested in writing. In the years in which Franksta ' wrote his first texts, inspired by rappers like Curse , Ruhrpott AG , Kool Savas and many others, Nicoist immersed himself largely in the subject of beats and his own productions with samplers and PC. When the two met in '99, they decided to produce their own rap together from now on. Nicoist provided the technical know-how (beats, mixing, mastering, etc.), while Franksta 'primarily took care of the lyrics and the DJ parts. After a few test recordings in 2003 with a simple hand microphone (this resulted in the demo EP called "Leben und Reden Lassen"), space was slowly created for better recording quality and thus, little by little, a studio was set up. This is how the first album "Berg zum Propheten" was created in 2005, which was mainly sold through word of mouth and was only later to be available digitally on the Feine Kreise label. After a few guest appearances on the radio stations " 1live " and " Radio Berg " in 2004 the first nationwide release on the album "Moments 3" by Roey Marquis II followed. The first place at the Rheinhiphop contest in Cologne in 2006 also showed that Inflabluntahz can prevail against 80 opponents and that this does not necessarily have to be done through battle rap . At the end of 2006 third place was also achieved in the Cologne song contest "Styles for Respect", in which the jury, consisting of DJ Lifeforce, Toni L and Tatwaffe , selected the 8 winners from over 50 applicants.
On May 11, 2007, the story of the two will continue in the form of the multi-faceted album "Director's Cut", which was distributed by Rough Trade and for the first time attracted a larger audience. Some artists from the German rap scene are represented, such as Donato, Nazz'n'Tide, Nemo Nemesis, Mnemonic, Headzwerk, Sinuhe, Jintanino, Sokom, Lunafrow and Cynthia ... the whole thing is primarily produced by Nicoist, Franksta 'and Ill- luzion and impresses with deep rap with heart and mind.
On March 26th 2010 the next release "Segen und Fluch" was released via Rubin Music, Flavamatic Records in the form of a double disc, which was sold out after a short time and was re-pressed in 2013 as a single CD. In 2011 a record was released for the first time in the form of a "best-of" vinyl called "Uncut Soul", limited to 500 copies, which is also already sold out. On January 21, 2012, songs by Inflabluntahz were used on ZDF in the crime series "Kommissar Stollberg". Over time, the Inflabluntahz made many other guest appearances on the albums of various rap artists and producers , including on the album "1210" by the DJ and producer "Kool DJ GQ". On April 18, 2014, the last work by the two musicians, entitled "Back to Life", was released on CD and double vinyl in stores. In 2017 the Grafitti DVD "Qwantensprung" was released, which is completely accompanied by the music of the Inflabluntahz.
In mid-2016 there were two mixtape releases "The Legacy Mixtape Vol. 1" and "the Legacy Mixtape Vol. 2", which are available for free download on the Inflabluntahz homepage and excerpts from previously unpublished recordings, recordings and various feature songs shows.
Others
In collaboration between Christina Tillmann and Frank Adam, a podcast entitled "Gilded Time" has been in progress since the end of April 2020 , which deals with many interpersonal issues, but in the future you can also learn a lot of background knowledge about the musical career of the Inflabluntahz.
