The themes of her painting are form, color and lines, which she knows how to weave into complex, emotionally charged and aesthetically complex compositions (Johanna Staniczek).

The pictures set themselves apart from the usual method of representation in non-representational painting and their common general characteristics. These peculiarities are the trademarks of the German artist Inga Braune. (Árpád Horányi).

Radiant, bright colors such as orange, fire red or apple green are used by brown as well as deep black. The latter obscures the images like raindrops or creates curiosity because it covers the images like a fence. The fact that none of the pictures seem threatening or melancholy is due to the layer of varnish with which brown has covered every picture and which even lets the black shine. (Garnet Manecke, Rheinische Post)

A bluish green area framed by pink bars. Dark stripes run across the canvas, which is sealed with varnish and looks like a mirror. You want to touch it, this picture, it seems tangible in a strange way. (Verena Patel, Rheinische Post)
