Inga Skutchii is a tree art from the subfamily of Mimosa Family (Mimosoideae). It is native to Costa Rica.
description
Inga skutchii is a tree up to nine meters high with dense, downy, rust-red hairy branches. The leaves are six- to eight-fold pinnate, the leaflets are ovate to elliptical, 4 to 7 inches long and 1 to 2 inches wide.
The leaf hachis is cylindrical in cross section. The stipules are up to 2 millimeters long and obsolete.
The inflorescences are spikes . The shaft is 3 to 4 inches long, the rachis 5 to 7 inches long. The flowers are 15 to 18 millimeters long and white. The fruits are flat, 13 inches long and 2.3 inches wide.

Inga skutchii is native to the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica.

The species was first described by Paul Carpenter Standley in 1943 .
