Inge Frohnert

Inge Frohnert (born March 23, 1924 in Domnau , Friedland district , † January 21, 2013 in Berlin ) was a German politician of the ( SPD ).

Life

After attending elementary school and secondary school, intermediate school leaving certificate in 1940. Then attended the commercial college with graduation in 1942. 1946 Joined the public service in Berlin as an administrative employee. 1955 acceptance into civil service. Attended the administration school and administration academy. 1960 graduate camerawoman and Senate Councilor at the Senator for Finance in Berlin. Clerk at the Central Association of Political Refugees and East Germans V. on a fee basis. Member of the SPD since 1967. Member of the Berlin-Spandau district board . Member of the state board of the working group for employee issues of the SPD, until 1983 deputy state chairwoman. State party congress delegate, 1976 to 1981, member of the Berlin-Spandau district council . June 1981 Member of the Berlin House of Representatives via the Spandau district list. Member of the ÖTV trade union since 1973 . Member of the board of trustees of the Lette Association. Deputy member of the advisory board at the Federal Compensation Office . Until 2002 chairwoman of the SPD working group AG 60 Plus , honorary chairwoman of AG 60 Plus. Chairwoman of the Working Group Berlin Seniors (ABS), until 2006 chairwoman of the EURAG Germany section in the Union of the Older Generation of Europe, then honorary chairwoman. As a member of the SPD, she was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from 1981 to 1991 and was a member of the Committee on Health and Social Affairs and the Petitions Committee . From 1990 to 1991 Frohnert was Vice President of the House of Representatives. When she left the House of Representatives in 1991, she left behind the "Seniors Debate in Parliament" event, which has been held annually since then. In 2001 she wrote the first draft for a senior citizens' participation law, which was passed in 2006 in Berlin as the first federal state by the House of Representatives.
