Ingeborg "Inge" Fuhrmann (born May 11, 1936 in Küstrin , Brandenburg province ), married Ingeborg Rohnstein , is a former German sprinter .

biography

Fuhrmann traveled as the new German champion over 100 and 200 meters to the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 . There she also started over both distances, but was eliminated both times in the preliminary run.

Two years later she competed in the European Championships over 100 and 200 meters . In the same year she was again German champion over both distances , after winning over 200 meters gold and over 100 meters silver in the previous year .

At the Universiade in 1959 , she won the bronze medal with the 4 x 100 meter relay .
