Ingeborg Koehler-Rieckenberg

Ingeborg Köhler-Rieckenberg , b. Rieckenberg (born December 4, 1914 in Berlin ; † June 10, 2015 ) was a German economist .

Live and act

Rieckenberg studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science (1932–1933), at the Sorbonne , Faculté de Droit , Paris (1933–1934), at the University of Berlin (1935–1936, degree: Diplom-Volkswirt) and at the University of Manchester (1938). In 1955 she received her doctorate as Dr. rer. pole. for economics at the Free University of Berlin . From 1939 to 1941 she was a research assistant at the Studiengesellschaft für Wirtschaftsordnung e. V. (Study Society for National Economy), Berlin.

From 1941 to 1945 Ingeborg Köhler-Rieckenberg was a research assistant in the Foreign Office , then Professional Assistant in Economic Analysis in the Office of Military Government for Germany and from 1947 to 1975 she was an employee and department head (from 1957) at the German Institute for Economic Research (Berlin).

From 1970 to 1974 she was teaching economics at the Free University and from 1961 to 1994 she was the editor of the journal Konjektivenpolitik (Berlin).

She was married to the economist Claus Köhler since 1958 .
