Claus Koehler

Claus Köhler (born March 5, 1928 in Berlin ) is a German economist .

Career

From 1950 to 1951 he worked at the German Institute for Economic Research , then until 1959 at Berlin banks. From 1959 to 1966, Köhler was a member of the board of a German finance company and a member of the administrative board of a Swiss financial holding. From 1966 to 1974 he was a full professor of economics at the Technical University of Hanover .

Since 1974 he has been honorary professor at the University of Hanover, since 1981 honorary professor at the University of Frankfurt a. M.

Private

Köhler was married to the economist Ingeborg Rieckenberg from 1958 until her death in 2015 .
