Ingeborg Ottmann

Ingeborg Ottmann (born February 1, 1925 in Breslau ; † November 18, 2010 in Hamburg ) was a German actress .

Life

She attended an acting school in Breslau before she had her first appearance in Teschen in 1943 . After the Second World War and the resulting expulsion, she performed in Glauchau and later in Dresden . From 1955 she played in the ensemble of the Städtisches Theater Leipzig, to which she belonged until 1988. Then she moved to Hamburg, where she founded the NN Theater together with her husband, the director Dieter Seidel .

Since 1958 she has also worked as an actress in various DEFA productions, including films such as The Adventures of Werner Holt , Discharge on Probation or The Frozen Lightning .
