Ingeborg Poffet (born January 17, 1965 in Bensberg , Germany ) is a Swiss improvisation musician ( accordion , vocals) and composer who lives in Basel and France and works worldwide.

Live and act

Poffet started playing the accordion very early. From the age of four she appeared in public concerts. As a soloist in various accordion orchestras, she has given concerts in both classical and contemporary music. From 1984 to 1986 she studied computer music with Clarence Barlow at the Hochschule für Musik Köln , and trained on the accordion with recognized interpreters such as Hugo Noth, Mie Miki-Schenck , Guido Wagner and Elsbeth Moser.

Then she managed various projects in the field of new music and worked from 1986 to 1989 in studios for electronic music in Berlin and Basel. She also worked as a composer and instrumentalist for the Basel Theater and was involved in the realization of film scores by Niki Reiser for Dani Levy ( I Was on Mars / Fathers / Everything on Sugar! ), For Hermine Huntgeburth ( The Trio ) and for Doris Dörrie ( Nobody loves me ) just as involved as in the music for the documentary The Last Coiffeur Before the Wettstein Bridge .

Together with her husband JOPO, she formed the duo fatale vision , which expanded with various musicians such as Ralf Kaupenjohann, Heinz Schäublin ( trio fatale vision ), Paul Hubweber and Lukas Lindenmaier , as well as the KABA quartet with JOPO, Johannes Frisch and Michael Ströder . She also had projects with Freddy Allemann and Laurent Charles (poems by Paul Celan ) and with DJ (Fresh 'nDJ, Duo fatale meets DJ GRU) as well as regular encounters with musicians from Asian and North African cultures. In 2003 she created the multi-media performance femme fatale with JOPO (with dance, light effects and chainsaws). In the past few years she has composed various music sudokus ( Eight Miniatures , The Sound Box 1 , The Sound Box 2 ). She performed at the Leipzig Jazz Days and other international festivals in Central and Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa.

She gives private lessons for accordion, singing and theory and has been teaching aural training and a cappella courses since 1992 .
