Ingeborg Riehl

Ingeborg Riehl (born November 14, 1918 in Essen ; † August 14, 2005 in Braunschweig ) was a German theater actress and since 1986 an honorary member of the Braunschweig State Theater , of which she has been a member for over 60 years.

Life

After completing her acting training at the Folkwang School in Essen, Riehl made her debut in 1938 as “Gretchen” in Goethe's Faust. A tragedy . In 1939 she married the actor Hans Caninenberg . After the divorce, she married her colleague Hanns Groth in 1946, with whom she moved to the Staatstheater Braunschweig, where she played from 1947 until the end of her career in the early 2000s. She had two children with Hanns Groth.

In addition to her acting activities , Ingeborg Riehl also worked as a speaker for radio plays .
