Ingemar Linnéll (born September 1, 1954 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish handball trainer and official as well as a former handball player .
Born in Gothenburg, he played for the Swedish clubs IK Heim , SoIK Hellas and from 1982 for BK Heid , where he was player-coach in the 1984/85 season . For the Swedish national team , Linnéll played exactly one international match in 1976 .
As a trainer, he supervised SoIK Hellas from 1987 to 1991 and IF Guif from 1994 to 1998 . In 1998 he became a trainer at the Danish KIF Kolding , with whom he became Danish champion in 2001. From 2002 he was the sporting director in Kolding and coach of the Swedish junior national team, with which he became junior world champion in 2003. In 2004 he took over the position of the Swedish national coach from Bengt Johansson , but could not build on the success of his predecessor. After four years he gave up the post to Staffan Olsson and Ola Lindgren . He then returned to Kolding and won the championship in 2009. From 2011 he became sports coordinator there. From 2012 he was head of sport and coach of the second division team Ricoh HK from Stockholm, with whom he was promoted to the Elitserien in 2014 . After the 2014/15 season, Linnéll gave up his coaching position to Martin Boquist and has only worked as head of sport at Ricoh HK ever since.
Ingemar Linnéll is married and has a son and twin daughters. In the 2013/14 season Jesper Linnéll (* 1986) played for HK Drott , Jonna Linnéll and Jennie Linnéll (* 1988) for H 65 Höör .
