Ingmar Putz (born January 31, 1969 ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .

Career

As a teenager, Ingmar Putz played at Wacker Steele, FC Schalke 04 and from 1980 at Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . As an 18-year-old, he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga when he was substituted on by coach János Bédl in the 90th minute on matchday 35 of the 1986/87 season . This game was his only one for the 1st team of RWO.

He later played at Hamborn 07 and became a second division player again when he moved to FC Remscheid in 1991. In the first year, the promoted team in the two-pronged 2. Bundesliga reached relegation, in 1992/93 they relegated together with six other teams. Putz moved after relegation to SV Meppen and thus remained in the second division. At SVM, his goalscoring was not as great as before at FC Remscheid, and he was often substituted on. He returned to the FCR, which the return to the second division had not succeeded. In 1996 one rose to the now reintroduced third-class Regionalliga West / Südwest. In 1996/97 the league was just achieved. Putz, who in the meantime acted as a defensive player, was a regular in the team coached by Detlef Pirsig . In 1998/99 the FCR got only 6 points from the first 19 games. Putz switched to FC Wegberg-Beeck ( Oberliga Nordrhein ) during the winter break , where he met coach Pirsig again. During the 1999/2000 season he went to Preußen Münster and thus back to the Regionalliga West / Südwest. From 2000, the formerly four-track regional league was only divided into the north and south seasons. Prussia Munster joined the Regionalliga Nord. Putz played there for Münster until 2003 and then moved to his ex-club Hamborn 07, where he last acted as player-coach.

Ingmar Putz now lives in Neuss and started as a coach at SV Uedesheim in 2007 . In his first season, 2007/08, he was promoted to the Lower Rhine regional league with his team , followed by promotion to the Lower Rhine regional league in summer 2012 . In the 2013/14 season , SV Uedesheim rose again to the Lower Rhine regional league. After five match days in the 2014/15 season, Ingmar Putz left the club at his own request, after his team had only been able to get one point to date. On January 15, 2015, Putz was introduced as the new head coach at his former club FC Remscheid, who played in the Niederrhein regional football league , and received a contract there until June 30, 2016. He was replaced early in September 2015 by Thorsten Legat . For the 2016/17 season he returned to his former club SV Uedesheim.
