Ingo de Buhr

Ingo de Buhr (born January 8, 1966 ) is a German entrepreneur in the field of renewable energies . As co-owner he founded in 1995 in Arkebek ( Dithmarschen ) the wind -Unternehmen Prokon and as sole managing director in 1997 in Leer (Ostfriesland) the Prokon Nord Energiesysteme , today energy N.prior .

Ingo de Buhr studied electrical engineering at the TU Berlin from 1987 to 1995 . In 1995, together with Carsten Rodbertus and a third partner, he founded the then wind farm developer Prokon , which became known nationwide as the Prokon group of companies in 2014 due to its bankruptcy .

As early as 1997, he parted with his previous partners, who did not want to go on the path he was striving for in the then new and therefore risky development of offshore wind farms , and founded Prokon Nord Energiesysteme . According to their own information, there was agreement about the similarity of names. In addition to wind energy, energy from biomass was developed as a further business area. In 2010 the company renamed itself N.prior energy , in 2012 it went bankrupt .

From 1997 to 2007 De Buhr was a member of the board of directors of Enertrag AG and temporarily managing director of Weener Energie , the operator of the Weener EBS power plant . De Buhr is now on the board of PN Power Plants AG.
