Ingolf Ellßel

Ingolf Ellßel (born September 3, 1954 in Oberkirch ) is a German clergyman of the German Pentecostal movement and former President of the Bund Freikirchlicher Pfingstgemeinden (BFP). Since 2004 he is part of the governing body of the World Pentecostal Fellowship , a global association of Pentecostal churches with about 740 million members.

Life

Ingolf Ellßel began an apprenticeship in the metal sector in 1970 until 1972. He attended the business high school until 1974, after which he attended the Beröa theological seminar in Erzhausen . He completed this in 1979. From May 1979 to 2014 he was a pastor in the church building work of the Christ Centrum Tostedt (CCT) in Tostedt . His ordination as pastor took place in November 1980.

He is a speaker at international conferences. From 1996 to 2008 Ellßel was President of the Bund Freikirchlicher Pfingstgemeinden and from 2001 to 2013 Chairman of the European Pentecostal Movement ( Pentecostal European Fellowship , PEF). 2004 - 2016 member of the board of the World Pentecostal Fellowship (WPF) Since 2013 Chairman of the international board of the ICEJ International Christian Embassy Jerusalem

Ingolf Ellßel has been married since 1976 and has five children.

criticism

Ellßel represents Pentecostal charismatic attitudes and strictly rejects homosexuality and premarital intercourse , among other things .
