Ingolf Gabold
Ingolf Gabold (born March 31, 1942 in Heidelberg ) is a Danish composer and TV producer.
Life
The son of a German and a Danish woman left Germany with his parents at the age of two and grew up in Denmark. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and started working as a music producer for Danish Radio. He later switched to television and, as "Head of Media", was responsible for successful Danish series such as Commissioner Lund - Das Verbrechen , Die Brücke - Transit in den Tod or Borgen - Dangerous rope teams . Gabold has been Head of Development at the production company Eyeworks since 2012 , which was taken over 100 percent by Warner Bros. Television in June 2014 .
Awards
Gabold received the Prix Europa for his life's work on October 24, 2014 in Berlin .
