Ingrid Domann (* 1952 in Eutin ) is a German actress .

Life

After training as a bookseller, Ingrid Domann attended the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna from 1972 to 1974 . Her stage career was from 1976 to 1979 at the Lower Saxony State Theater in Hanover , then until 1993 at the Hessian State Theater in Wiesbaden . After another permanent engagement, which led her to the Theater Basel from 1993 to 1998 , Domann worked as a freelancer until 2003 and performed as guest performers at various stages such as the Fritz Rémond Theater in Frankfurt , the Koblenz Theater , the Heidelberg Theater and the Bad Hersfeld Festival, where she was awarded the audience award in 2003. From 2003 to 2010 Domann had another firm engagement, this time at the Deutsches Theater in Göttingen. Since 2010 she has been a member of the ensemble at Essen's Grillo Theater .

Well-known roles of Domann were Jenny in the Threepenny Opera by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill , Frau John in Gerhart Hauptmanns Ratten , Marthe Rull in the Broken Jug by Heinrich von Kleist , Marthe Schwertlein in Faust , Elisabeth I in Maria Stuart by Friedrich Schiller or Martha in Edward Albees Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? . In Essen she was on stage as Miss Schneider in the musical Cabaret in the 2014/15 season , after she had already worked as an extra at Liza Minnelli's side in the film version in 1972.

Ingrid Domann has also worked sporadically in front of the camera since the early 1980s. She was often cast in the series A Case for Two , among other tasks she also played repeatedly in the crime scene .
