Ingrid Jent-Sørensen

Ingrid Jent-Sørensen (* 1951 in St. Gallen ; resident in Safenwil and Egnach ) is a Swiss law scholar .

Jent-Sørensen was admitted to the bar in 1982 after studying law at the University of Zurich . Three years later she did her doctorate with Walter Haller with a dissertation on the Danish ombudsman . Based on her habilitation thesis “Legal Enforcement in Real Estate Exploitation in Special Execution”, the University of Zurich granted her the venia legendi for civil procedure law and debt collection and bankruptcy law as well as private law in 2002 . In 2009 she was appointed adjunct professor.

She is the legal secretary and substitute judge at the higher court of the Canton of Zurich .

She is Vice President of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Mental Health Care and Conflict Education in Children and Adolescents .
