Inna Olexandriwna Suprun ( Ukrainian Інна Олександрівна Супрун ; born April 10, 1983 in Konotop , Soviet Union ) is a former Ukrainian biathlete .

Inna Suprun started in 2004 at the Junior World Championships in Haute-Maurienne for the first time in a major international event, but could not achieve any results worth mentioning. The best result was eighth place in the relay. At the Junior European Championships of the same year in Minsk , she achieved her best result with fifth place with the relay, also in this form of competition, but could also be 14th in the pursuit. After Suprun was 14th in the sprint in the Biathlon European Cup race in Geilo at the beginning of the 2004/05 season , she advanced to the Biathlon World Cup . Her first race was a sprint in BeitostølenShe finished as 83rd. Suprun was used at almost all World Cup stations during the season, but was never able to win points in a single race. The best result was a tenth place with the relay in Cesana San Sicario in the pre-Olympic competitions. The next two seasons Suprun started irregularly in the European Cup without ever achieving a result in the top ten. It was not until the 2007/08 season that Suprun was able to achieve better results again. So she was seventh in the European Cup sprint in Torsby . For the first trip of the World Cup entourage to the South Korean Pyeongchang, she moved up to the Ukrainian team and achieved her best individual World Cup results with the ranks 43 in the sprint and 46 in the pursuit. With the mixed relay, Suprun achieved seventh place and thus her best World Cup result. Her best international result was fifth place in the individual at the European Championships in 2008 in Nové Město na Moravě . She also finished 17th in the sprint. At the start of the 2010/2011 World Cup in Östersund, Suprun was 32nd in the singles, winning World Cup points for the first time. After the successful start - the Belarusian won points in three of the first four races - followed a longer period in which she could not score any points. Only at the end of the middle third of the season she was able to win points again in the sprint race in Fort Kent in ninth place and for the first time run into the top ten. In the pursuit that followed, Inna Suprun was 17th and, thanks to the new mass start rules, qualified for this competition for the first time.
