Downtown (Jonava)
The Jonava city center borders the historic old town and is characterized by the buildings that were built during the Soviet era and the buildings in the urban style of Soviet Lithuania .

Since Jonava did not survive the Second World War unscathed, visitors cannot see a historical cityscape. Only a few buildings bear witness to the history. These are the Jonava State Museum (former horse transport post station Jonava ) and the Jonava Art School . The inner city gained importance and expanded during socialism .

The Jonava bus station is located at the Jonava market (Turgausstraße) and is connected to the network of regional bus routes (operated by bus companies such as Kautra ). The Jonava city center is connected to all transport lines of the UAB “Jonavos autobusai” bus company.
