Insel Air Aruba ceased operations in 2017. The information in italics refer to the last status before the end of operation.

Insel Air Aruba was an airline and subsidiary of Insel Air , as well as the official flag carrier of Aruba .

An investigation carried out in January 2017 by the Transport Safety Authority of the Kingdom of the Netherlands ( Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport ) revealed deficiencies at both the parent company Insel Air and Insel Air Aruba as well as the aviation authorities of Curaçao and Aruba. As a result, a number of aircraft from both companies are no longer allowed to take off for an indefinite period. Insel Air and Insel Air Aruba then reduced their flight destinations, which previously also included flight destinations in the USA and South America, to the ABC islands and Sint Maarten .

Insel Air Aruba ceased operations in 2017 after five years.
