Intedis GmbH & Co. KG ( Int egrated E lectronic Di stribution S ystem) is a joint venture of the company Hella GmbH & Co. KGaA and LEONI Wiring Systems GmbH , based in Würzburg . Intedis' vision is to help shape the intelligent, safe, affordable and low-emission vehicle of the future in the early stages of development.

With the shareholders LEONI Bordnetz-Systeme GmbH , Hella GmbH & Co. KGaA and in cooperation with automobile manufacturers, Intedis develops solutions for individual, innovative and low-emission vehicles of the future. The time and development horizon is one to two vehicle generations in advance. It is involved in the development of functions, architectures and products.

The core areas of Intedis are automotive electrical engineering, E / E architecture, simulation, electromobility , autonomous driving , connectivity and energy management .

history

The company was founded in 2001 under the management of Gold and Schriek and began in the field of series development. In 2003 Intedis expanded its presence in Erlangen . From 2004 the focus was on business development, after which Intedis acted as an independent consultant in 2007. Six years later, Intedis focused on generating innovations for the parent companies. In 2011, the Shanghai (China) location was expanded and closed again in 2015.

Since 2016 the company has been concentrating on the field of electrics & electronics in automobiles under the direction of Dibowski.

Funding projects

eFuture

Intedis was a leading member of the eFuture consortium in the EU's Seventh Framework program. The “eFuture” project was implemented from September 2010 to November 2013 with the aim of developing a next-generation electric vehicle that consumes minimal energy and can dynamically optimize its decisions between safety and energy efficiency.

AutoConf

The AutoKonf funding project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research with a project volume of 5.3 million euros with the aim of researching automatically reconfigurable actuator control for fail-safe automated driving functions. The implementation will take place in the period from October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2019.

Specifically, the project is being carried out by the following companies: BMW Group , Fraunhofer EMFT , Hella GmbH & Co. KGaA , Intedis GmbH & Co. KG and ITK Engineering GmbH.
