Intelsat 903 is a television satellite owned by the International Telecommunications Satellite Consortium (Intelsat). It was launched on March 30, 2002 with the Russian Proton launcher from the Baikonur spaceport . Its lifespan is expected to be 13 years.
The following services are offered via Intelsat 903, among others: radio and television reception, Internet access, telephony, company networks. The satellite transmits u. a. the Greenlandic full program Kalaallit Nunaata Radioa , several programs for large parts of Africa and French television in the form of pay-TV from operator CanalSat Caraïbes for the Caribbean .
