In addition to the four member associations at the time, the Chinese variant of chess, Xiangqi , was also represented. In 2012, the 2nd World Thinking Sports Games took place from August 9th to 23rd, 2012 in Lille . The thinking sports represented will be the same as four years earlier in Beijing.
