The International School of New Media (ISNM) in Lübeck was a private training institution. It was located in a renovated warehouse building on the Wall Peninsula at the Museum Harbor directly on the banks of the Trave in Lübeck's historic old town. The sponsors included the Lübeck merchants , the Parcham'sche Foundation and the Possehl Foundation .

history

The ISNM was founded in 2001 and offered, among other things, an English-language postgraduate course that led to the internationally recognized Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Digital Media .

The aim was to qualify graduates from various disciplines in full and part-time courses to become executives for the digital media industry. The ISNM was conceived as an affiliated institute of the University of Lübeck (UzL), which was a particular concern of the founding member Michael Herczeg , the director of the Institute for Multimedia and Interactive Systems at the UzL. Hubertus von Amelunxen acted as the founding agent. In 2008, she said she was in the process of restructuring. However, in 2011 it finally ceased operations and was completely closed at the end of 2012.
