The International Fire Brigade Sports Competition Medal is awarded every four years on the occasion of the International Fire Brigade Sports Competitions ( World Championships ) by the President of the International Technical Committee for Preventive Fire Protection and Fire Extinguishing (CTIF) .

The international fire service sports competition medal consists of a round medal surface on which the fire service logo , the year and the venue of the international fire service sports competition with the lettering of the CTIF are shown. The medal of honor hangs on a ribbon of medals in the national colors of the host country .

Requirements and award

A gold, silver or bronze medal will be awarded to the three best competitors in the 100-meter obstacle course , hook ladder climbing and duel competitions . In the team evaluations of the individual disciplines of the 100-meter obstacle course and in the hook ladder climbing, the competitors who have started the teams in the first three places will each receive a gold, silver or bronze medal as well as a certificate for the team. All competitors of the three best relays or fire fighting teams of each valuation group as well as one coach of each of these groups receive a gold, silver or bronze medal. A corresponding certificate in the language of the host country is issued and handed over for each medal . The certificate is signed by the President, Vice-President and Head of Competition of the CTIF as well as by the patron of the major international event.
