The airport has an asphalt runway (direction 03/21) with a length of 3658 meters at a height of eleven meters.

Expansion since 2008

The airport has been subject to an expansion and renovation concept since 2008. Phase 1, planned to run until 2014, was completed on October 1, 2013, with the opening of the renovated passenger terminal and a new cargo terminal. The passenger capacity was increased to three million per year. In a second phase, presumably from 2020, a new passenger terminal is to be built that will allow up to eight million travelers per year.
