International Werner Seelenbinder Memorial Tournament 1977

The International Werner Seelenbinder Memorial Tournament 1977 took place from September 24 to 25, 1977 in Greifswald . It was the fifth edition of the International Championships of the GDR in badminton . After the previous year, Greifswald hosted the title fights for the second time. Athletes from five countries (GDR, USSR, ČSSR, Poland and Bulgaria) took part. The individual and mixed competitions were played in a grid of 32 participants each, the double competitions in a grid of 16 participants each.
