The Invest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ( state economic development agency Invest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH , Invest in MV ) is the economic development agency for the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern . The national company is responsible for advising national and international companies for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as a business location. In addition to its headquarters in Schwerin, Invest in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has another branch in Greifswald .

The state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is the main shareholder of Invest in MV. Further shareholders are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Neubrandenburg, Rostock and Schwerin, the Chamber of Crafts in East Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schwerin and the Association of Entrepreneurs' Associations for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania eV
