The IG Field (formerly Investors Group Field ) is a Canadian football - stadium in the Canadian city of Winnipeg in the province of Manitoba . Mainly Canadian football and soccer games take place here. The main users of the new stadium are the Winnipeg Blue Bombers from the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the team from the University of Manitoba , the Manitoba Bisons from the Canadian university league U Sports . Then there are the Winnipeg Rifles from the CJFL and the Manitoba Fearless from the WWCFL . The facility is owned by Triple B Stadium Inc. , a consortium made up of the City of Winnipeg, the Province of Manitoba, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the University of Manitoba.

The Investors Group Field, designed by Raymond SC Wan, was built on the University of Manitoba campus adjacent to the University Stadium , which opened in 1967 . The stadium has a capacity of 33,500 seats, each with a cup holder. 170 spaces are available for wheelchair users. HD video walls measuring 37 × 9 meters are installed on the two grandstands in the back gate area . 250 television monitors are distributed in the stadium so that the game can be followed everywhere. There are a total of 28 wash and toilet rooms, all of which are wheelchair accessible. The Bomber Store fan and ticket shop has around 370 square meters of retail space. With additional stands, the capacity can increase to over 40,000 seats. There are 46 luxury boxes in the venue. The construction costs amounted to 210 million CAD . The new building was opened at the end of May 2013 with a grand ceremony.

The first game of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the new stadium on June 27, 2013 they lost 33:38 against the Montreal Alouettes. The first soccer game took place on May 8, 2014. The friendly match between the women's national teams from Canada and the USA ended in a 1-1 draw in front of 28,255 spectators.

In March 2014, the CFL awarded the 103rd Gray Cup game to Winnipeg and Investors Group Field on November 29, 2015. The stadium was also one of the six venues for the 2015 Women's World Cup . On October 23, 2016, the NHL Heritage Classic outdoor ice hockey game between the Winnipeg Jets and the Edmonton Oilers will take place at Investors Group Field .

In May 2019, the name of the facility was changed from Investors Group Field to IG Field . IG Wealth Management has been a name sponsor since 2013 .
