Ioan Nan

Ioan Nan (born September 3, 1980 in Kronstadt ) is a former Romanian ski racer .

He started skiing at the age of five and has won more than 20 national titles. In 1997 he took part in the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in Sundsvall .

In 2003 Nan started in St. Moritz for the first time at the World Ski Championships , where he finished 62nd in the giant slalom. At the 2007 World Ski Championships in Åre , he finished 26th in slalom and 29th in giant slalom, and he was 26th in slalom at the 2009 World Ski Championships in Val-d'Isère .

In 2010 Nan took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver , where he competed in slalom and giant slalom. In the slalom he was eliminated and in the giant slalom he was 49. In Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the 2011 World Championships , he did not reach the finish in either the slalom or the giant slalom.
